Last P-Day in the MTC

Hi There Everyone,

Before I start my letter, HAPPY BIRTHDAY JC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love you so much buddy! I hope you have had a great day and I hope it is a memorable one! You are the BEST brother EVER and I want you to know that I want to be like you when I grow up!

Well, this is the last P-Day in the MTC for me and I am so excitedly nervous for the opportunity that I get to serve the People of Italy! I am so happy that I have had the experiences here, but I am very excited to get out of here! I am a bit tired of sitting in a classroom for 10 hours a day.

I am also kinda sad to leave Anziano Prete because we work so well together and have really formed an extremely strong friendship while we have been here! I guarantee that we will keep in touch throughout our missions and even further into our lives! He and I work so well together whether it be through sports, lessons, jokes, service, etc. that people automatically know that we are companions. For example, the past three times we have been at gym we have been playing volleyball and we have had people ask, " Are you companions?" because we set it perfectly to one another. "Prayton (Prete & Layton) SMASH!!!!!!!" ;)

For one of our service projects, we were asked to organize the supply closet.  Not only did we organize, WE BUILT A CASTLE WITH THE SUPPLIES...we are so helpful:)

Thank you so much for the pens, pencils, and candy mom! I ate all the candy within two days and the pens are working perfectly! Thank you so much for being the BEST mom EVER!!! Also, to answer your questions, we do have an ATM here and I did already do the Power of Attorney already. I will put that in the mail for you today. Also, do you want me to take out more money? If so, how much? Thank you also for sending me that Lorenzo Snow account I read it and it gave me goose-bumps just reading it!

I'm sorry life has been hectic for you lately Mom. I hope it gets better as it goes on!

On a happier note, I have my travel plans and they go as follows:
1) Wake up and get to the travel office by 8 a.m. on Tuesday
2) Leave S.L. City Airport at _____ and fly to Chicago (O'Hare) airport
3) Leave O'Hare at ______ and arrive in London Heathrow at _____ a.m.
4 Leave Heathrow at _____ a.m. and arrive in Rome at _______ p.m.
--- Expect a call between 9 and 11:00 Utah time ya;)?

The language is coming really well! I can understand loads, there are just so many ways to conjugate one verb that it makes it hard for me to remember everything. Italian is so beautiful though! I love this language so much!

Well, my time is almost up here, so I need to get off in a bit, but just a quick testimony:
I know this church is true. I know that my older brother Jesus Christ suffered for me upon the cross of Calvary. I know from the deepest part of my heart that Christ and God love me and want the best for me no matter what I do in my life! I know that what I am doing is the best thing that I could do at this point in my life! I know that I can and will live with my Father again after a brief trial of my faith here on earth! I love my Father in Heaven so much!

I love you all so much and I will write when I get to ROMA!!!!!

FORZA ROMA!!!!!!!!!!!

P.S. Mom, or anyone reading this that lives on the Henderson side of the valley can you please look out for an Elder Siilatta from Hawaii! He is going to the Henderson side of the valley and has been one of my good friends here at the MTC! Just try and find him and take care of him! He is such a great kid and loves being LDS!
